Statseeker collects and stores MAC-IP relationship data for your network. This data includes the device and interface the MAC was connected to, the VLAN it appeared on, and the ARP table the information was retrieved from. Together, this information enables you to uniquely identify transient infrastructure as it appears on your network and track the movement of mobile hardware as it moves within your network.

Statseeker offers a range of MAC-IP reporting options, including current state and tracked histories as well as network, subnet, and VLAN trend analysis. Flexible reporting options combined with comprehensive alerting and out-of-the-box dashboards provides you with the tools you need to effectively manage this aspect of monitoring your network.

With flexible data retention options you aren’t limited to ‘current state’ or data snapshots for MAC-IP records. With Statseeker you can see and retain historical records of every MAC-IP event as it occurs on your network.

Our MAC-IP package is a core component of the Statseeker server. There is no extra licensing and no additional costs, just comprehensive monitoring and fast, effective reporting.
