Statseeker NPM monitors all health metrics that the hardware manufacturer makes available via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) communications. SNMP is an industry standard implemented by all major network hardware manufacturers to expose internal hardware metrics such as (but not limited to):

  • CPU and Memory Loadsm
  • Temperature and Fan Speeds
  • File System Usage
  • Internal Battery State/ Levels/ Voltage

These values are collected, for every device Statseeker NPM is monitoring, every minute. This data is stored, at this 1-minute granularity for the life of your Statseeker NPM deployment. Data is never averaged or ‘rolled-up’.

Statseeker NPM enables you to monitor the health of your network infrastructure by presenting this data in live dashboards and historical reports, and to generate alerts advising you of notable changes in device health, not only as those changes occur, but as they are predicted to occur, based on advanced analytics and data modelling.
